First of all, for the record, I am a Diet Coke drinker! Woot woot! I hate Diet Pepsi. I bring it up because you can see it in my pic. :D
When I sat down last fall to make this card, I had all intentions to make a Christmas card. I kept seeing beautiful Christmas cards with red and baby blue and a little bit of yellow. But when I had it together {minus the butterfly and "kind thoughts" sentiment}, It was not a Christmas card at all. So I added the butterfly and "kind thoughts" and loved the results.
Most of the supplies are Stampin' Up! Everything but the buttons actually. Those are BasicGrey {I know, big shocker!}. Don't you just love that ribbon! It's so gorgeous! I wish it was still available from Stampin' Up! But alas, it is retired. The shame! And I love the medallion stamp. It was the first thing out of the current catalog that I knew I was buying. And I don't regret it all.
Here's the rundown:
- Cardstock - textured Real Red, Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla
- Ink - Chocolate Chip classic
- Stamp Set's - Medallion background, {uugg! Can't remember the set the butterfly is from}
- Patterned Paper - Pink Lemonade Designer Series Paper
- Buttons - BasicGrey
I used pop dots for the butterfly, mini glue dots for the buttons, and ribbon strip to hold the ribbon at the knot.
Happy Scrapping Everyone!!
Leana
